Our bathroom was tiny – 9’ x 4’ – and that included the 3’ x 4’ shower. Very typical of a house built in the early 1960s. Our extremely creative architect came up with the plan of knocking out a 3’ section of the outer wall and extending the bathroom floor 3’ over the deck outside. This would give us an “alcove” for the toilet, leaving more area in the rest of the bathroom. Outside, the plan was to make the “alcove” look like a chimney and to install a gas fireplace on it.
This unique plan looked simple on paper, but the execution of it was not! In spite of some major hurdles, both with the demolition of the existing bathroom and the renovation work itself, Wesley was able to create a wonderful new bathroom for us.
Our bathroom is still tiny, but it is amazing what an addition 9 square feet can do. And the work that Wesley did has created wonderful new spaces for us. We couldn’t be happier with the results of this renovation.
Wesley kept the entire project moving and on schedule. He took our architect’s vision and made it a reality. He made sure that his people did top-notch work throughout all phases of the project. He is the ultimate professional! We have highly recommended him to others and will continue to do so.
